My kids weren't even with me during this shopping trip but it still merits the title.
Here is the outfit I was trying to match:
If you know me, you also know my decision making skills go flying out the window when I'm shopping for myself. After 20 minutes of holding and staring at 2 very different shoes in Banana Republic....
The sales person sees my indecision and walks over to offer much needed advice.
Sales Person: "That red ballet flat goes well with the shirt but I really like that espadrille. It's soooo cute. It would really look a whole lot better with that outfit you're looking at because of the heel".
sidenote: The heel made me about 3 whole inches taller--the picture doesn't do it justice. That was a high heel. Definitely a hot sexy mama shoe.
Me: "Yah. But I have a 6 year old, a 4 year old and 7 month old twins".
(akward moment of silence)
Sales Person: "Definitely buy the flat".
Definitely red flat. Dude - my mom bought some at JC Penny, I think, for like ten bucks. They're cute too! Guaranteed to be cheaper than Banana Repub so you can spend the difference on scrapbooking supplies.
You should call me to go shopping with you. I'm always good at spending someone else's money. :)

Hey Haylie! I havented commented on your blog for a while either. I am still CTR-ing, whether it seems surprising or not. :) I haven't seen your child in my primary class for a couple of weeks? Is everything going ok? We miss Addie.

Hey! How come you never invited me to go shopping, I would have hit you over the head with that high-heeled shoe long before the sales person made you come to your senses.
