INGREDIENTS
- 1 (8 ounce) package wide egg noodles
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- ground black pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, heat butter or margarine and cream in a small saucepan over low heat until butter or margarine is melted. Stir in cheese, parsley, and salt and pepper; keep warm over low heat.
- Drain pasta. Toss with sauce to coat.
This was good. You really don't need the salt. I used the Kraft pre-grated cheese and it was good too. The reviews from the website say not to do that but I thought it was delightful. I also didn't toss the pasta with the sauce. I kept them seperate so that I could control how much of the sauce I got. Afterall, it is pretty hefty on the fat. mmmmmmmmmm, whipping cream and butter, mmmmmmmmmm [insert mental image of Homer Simpson's gut]. I got the recipe from allrecipes.com. I just love that website. People post recipes and others can rate and post reviews about them. Soo sooo handy.
So, today was a really funny day. I wasted a lot of time doing this.
Har, har, har... {if only}
To those of you who think I just broke million commandments, THAT'S NOT REALLY MY BODY! Sorry to break it to you. {if only}
That REALLY IS Lynn's body though.
